The Utah Nurse Aide training and competency exam can only be taken after the successful completion a CNA training program. The exam package is charged at $70 and has about 100 written questions. You are also required to perform five tasks as a required part of the exam. The candidates are granted 25% tolerance on the written part of the exam and no tolerance on the practical part. Utah has registered a 37% growth rate in CNA training according to a survey conducted by the Utah Department of Workforce.
